YG Entertainment’s next boy group is already generating a lot of buzz online — and they haven’t even debuted yet.
Earlier this month, YG founder Yang Hyun-suk revealed the company’s future plans, confirming activities for BABYMONSTER, TREASURE and the company’s upcoming debut projects.
Among the biggest announcements was the confirmation that YG plans to debut a brand new boy group in the fall of 2026. According to the company, the lineup will consist of five members who have already been finalized, with introductions expected to begin around September.
As this will mark YG’s first boy group since TREASURE debuted in 2020, anticipation has rapidly grown among K-pop fans and online communities.
Now, the alleged trainees who are said to be part of the training are becoming a viral topic just for their pictures.
Recently, photos of an intern believed to be linked to the new group began circulating online after he was spotted near the company building without a mask. While his identity remains unknown, fans were quick to focus on his sharp side profile, strong jawline, and defined nose bridge.
The photos immediately spread across Korean online forums and social media platforms, with many users praising the trainee’s images and comparing him to existing YG idols.

Another intern, dubbed the “visual intern” by fans, has also become a hot topic after previously appearing in online discussions regarding YG’s upcoming projects.
While there has been no official confirmation regarding the members’ identities, longtime K-pop fans have noticed that several YG trainees from past groups have been similarly spotted by fans ahead of their official debut.
For this reason, many believe that the recent sightings may indeed be linked to the agency’s highly anticipated new group of kids.
