tvN Unplanned Trip: Limited Editionwhich premieres May 3 at 7:30 pm, follows Jung Yu Mi, Park Seo Joon, and Choi Woo Shik on a chaotic domestic road trip where they have no idea where they’re going, where they’ll sleep, or how they’ll travel, ensuring a tough but fun adventure.
The teaser videos released since April 15th have already increased the anticipation, previewing those of the trio “limited” travel through Gyeongsang-do, Jeolla-do and Jeju Island. Their spontaneous, almost “similar to a kidnapping” the concept of travel adds an unpredictable and exciting element to the show.
In a teaser, the trio’s close friendship is on full display during their trip to Gyeongsang-do. Sitting side by side on the subway, they silently focus on their phones, until Park Seo Joon suddenly shouts: “We have to get down!” prompting all three to scramble in panic, making for a hilarious moment.
Another teaser reveals the harsh conditions of their journey, where even water is limited. Jung Yu Mi matter-of-factly points out that they have to equally share a single 2-liter bottle of water, prompting her joking rebuke and Park Seo Joon’s sincere reprimand. “I am sorry.” Adding to the humor, Choi Woo Shik complains about his fingers turning purple from carrying shopping bags instead of an actual backpack, sparking curiosity about what challenges await them in Jeolla-do.
In the final teaser, Park Seo Joon is seen during their trip to Jeju asking a bakery employee to look up something on a phone. Despite the embarrassment, he approaches and asks for help, saying: “A black pork restaurant visited by V of BTS,” drawing laughter. Even without access to their phones, the trio’s determination to find good food heightens the anticipation for their upcoming meal “muk bang” moments.
