Park Ji Hoon fan concert in Manila canceled, August event moved to Macau

South Korean actor and singer Park Ji Hoon will no longer hold his planned fan concert in Manila after his agency announced that the event has been moved to Macau due to unforeseen circumstances.

On July 7, YY Entertainment shared the update through Park Ji Hoon’s official b.stage fan community. The agency confirmed that the Manila leg of the 2026 PARK JI HOON ASIA FANCON [RE]originally scheduled for August 8, it was moved to Macau.

In its statement, the agency thanked fans for supporting Park Ji Hoon during his Asia tour before explaining the change.

“We sincerely apologize to the fans who have been waiting for the Manila show and kindly ask for your generous understanding,” the agency said.

The concert will take place on August 8 at 6pm at the Grand Hall of the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort in Macau, PhilStar reported.

YY Entertainment added that ticketing details and additional guidelines will be announced at a later date. The agency also assured fans that it will continue to strive to provide concertgoers with a memorable experience.

Park Ji Hoon’s return to the Philippines delayed

The announcement disappointed many Filipino fans who were eager to see Park Ji Hoon return to the country.

The Manila event was expected to be part of his RE Asia fan concert tour, which has already attracted strong support in several cities.

According to AllKPop, before the schedule change, Park Ji Hoon successfully completed performances in Tokyo, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hong Kong and Taipei. His remaining tour schedule now includes Bangkok, Singapore, Macau and Jakarta.

The canceled Manila show also marks the second time this year that one of Park Ji Hoon’s appearances in the Philippines has been cancelled. Its brand-sponsored event in Manila, originally scheduled for March, was also cancelled.

Despite the setback, Filipino fans still remember his last visit to the country in 2023 when he attended the Korea Travel Fiesta. Many hoped that RE’s fan concert would give them another chance to meet the actor and performer in person.

Park Ji Hoon first gained widespread recognition after competing in “Produce 101 Season 2” and later debuted with the project group Wanna One before building a successful solo music career. He has also won praise for his acting, starring in popular dramas such as “Weak Hero” and “The Legend of the Kitchen Soldier.”
