K-pop girl group izna made a strong comeback with their third mini album, “SET THE TEMPO”, marking a new step in their growth journey as one of the world’s emerging fifth generation groups. The statement highlights the group’s core message since debut: staying true to themselves while setting their own pace in a rapidly evolving industry.
According to KpoopWise, the album is officially released with five tracks, led by the title song “METRONOME”, produced by TEDDY along with KUSH, VVN and IDO.
The track uses the idea of a constant ticking to reflect confidence and self-control in a chaotic world. With its mix of bold energy and dreamy style, the song shows how izna continues to refine their identity while pushing towards a more mature sound.
“Just like the title of this album, we want to continue moving forward confidently at our steady pace,” the members said. “We will prove that izna is truly one of a kind and the group that can make any concept our own.”

Izna declares independence
Each of the remaining songs explores a different mood and message. “RIP” leans into pop-rock energy, focusing on breaking away from the past and stepping into something new.
“INFINITY” is a heartfelt fan song, with lyrics provided by members RYU SA RANG and BANG JEE MIN, that expresses gratitude and trust towards their supporters, KPoping reported.
“ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS” brings a playful vibe of hip-hop and R&B, inspired by childhood play but transformed into a story of choices and relationships.
The final track, “LEAN ON ME,” closes the album with a warm synth-pop sound, offering comfort in difficult times. Together, the five songs create a connected listening experience that showcases izna’s expanding musical range.
The group has continued to build a clear identity since debuting, primarily with “N/a” and subsequently with “Not just cute”, and now they enter an era with greater confidence “SET THE TIME.”
Since their formation through the survival show “I-LAND 2” and their debut under WakeOne, izna have gained attention for both their performances and their global reach.
The group has already achieved major recognition, including awards such as the MAMA Awards Favorite Rising Artist 2025 award and wins at the Golden Disc Awards and the D Awards.
