The fourth and final episode of tvN’s Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip, which aired on July 12, featured Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun, and Yoo In Na reading heartfelt messages and stories sent in by fans of the iconic drama.
One fan shared that she rewatched Goblin 40 times during middle and high school. He joked that his entire school life was filled with memories of Goblin, and that when he reached his senior year of high school, he sincerely expected Goblin to appear with a bouquet of buckwheat flowers, just like in the play.
The fan went on to reveal that she has now graduated from high school and recently entered her dream college. Imitating Kim Go Eun’s character, Ji Eun Tak, sweetly confessed to Gong Yoo, saying, “Sir, I love you. I plan to marry you.”
When Yoo In Na asked him how he would respond, Gong Yoo initially said, “Wow. Tell her to come.” However, he immediately realized the fan’s age and quickly changed his tone, exclaiming, “Wait a second… Isn’t she young enough to be my daughter?” Yoo In Na jokingly reminded him that his character Goblin was 949 years old, joking, “At that age, does the age difference matter?”
Trying to collect himself, Gong Yoo replied, “Age is just a number, but he still has such a bright future ahead of him. I almost feel sorry for him, so I think this kind of distance is perfect.” Yoo In Na burst out laughing and teased him, saying, “She probably didn’t mean it anyway. Do you really think she was sincere?”
Kim Go Eun joined in on the fun by staying in character as Ji Eun Tak, joking, “Excuse me, but the Goblin’s bride is still alive. That would be a problem because I’m still here.” His playful display of “jealousy” brought even more laughter from the cast and viewers.
