Kim Ji Yoon, Jisoo’s older sister, was eliminated during the first round of tvN’s survival show Kill It: Style Creator Survival, while contestant YoYo emerged as the overall winner of the round.
The May 19 broadcast of Kill It: Style Creator Survival featured judges and mentors including Jang Yoon Ju, Lee Jong Won, Cha Jung Won, Shin Hyun Ji and more as contestants competed to survive the first mission.
After the completion of the first round, the mentors gathered for a final casting board meeting where additional bonus points were discussed. Several contestants quickly became favorites among the judging teams due to their visuals, individuality and strong presence in front of the camera.
As the rankings were gradually revealed, contestants such as Dasha, Seo Yoon, Lee Soo Min, Kim Nara, and Choi Mina Soo successfully advanced to the higher ranks.
One of the biggest surprises came when former favorite Dasha dropped to 10th place despite initially finishing near the top. The mentors reacted with visible shock after hearing the updated results.
The final battle for first place ultimately fell to influencer Yubin Kelly and YoYo, who attracted huge attention for her appearance on Physical: 100.
According to the judges, Yubin Kelly impressed many photographers during the shoot, while YoYo maintained strong momentum throughout the competition. In the end, YoYo secured first place with just 174 photo cuts, creating one of the closest results of the round.
After winning, YoYo expressed her excitement by saying: “I’m so happy. I feel grateful and excited.”
Meanwhile, Yubin Kelly jokingly reacted to the narrow defeat by saying she would get “even crazier” in the subsequent rounds.
The last contestant to survive the first round was Lim Yoo Ah, who placed 50th.
Unfortunately, Kim Ji Yoon and the other eliminated contestants failed to advance further in the competition.
Despite her elimination, Kim Ji Yoon calmly reflected on her experience and shared: “I think I did my best in the areas I could handle, so I don’t have any regrets.”
The broadcast quickly became a trending topic online, with many viewers paying special attention to Kim Ji Yoon due to her connection with BLACKPINK’s Jisoo. Fans praised her mature response after the elimination and expressed support for her future endeavors.
