On the December 24 broadcast, Felix revealed that his Korean name is Lee Yong-bok, a name given to him by his grandfather. He explained that the name carries the meaning “the fragrance of a dragon.”
“After my name was decided, I heard that my mother cried for six months,” Felix shared, eliciting laughter and sympathy from the hosts. Host Yoo Jae-suk pointed out the contrast within Felix’s family, saying that his siblings have more common names like Jisoo and Jimin, while Felix alone has the unique name Yong-bok. When asked what he thought, Felix answered honestly.
“When I lived in Australia, I really liked the name Lee Yong-bok,” he said. “But after I came to Korea as an intern, the company said the name was quite unusual and suggested I continue using Felix.”
Felix also shared a memorable intern-era anecdote involving colleague Han. “Han found my name written on a medicine package. He held it up in front of many trainees and shouted, ‘Who is Lee Yong-bok?’ When I said it was me, everyone was shocked. he remembered with a smile.
Yoo Jae-suk praised the name, commenting that it sounded warm and friendly, adding that it suited Felix well.
The episode also highlighted the remarkable achievements of Stray Kids. This year, the group topped the Billboard 200 chart with their fourth album KARMA AND SKZ IT FOUL TAPEmarking their seventh and eighth consecutive entries at No. 1 on the charts.
Yoo Jae-suk revealed that JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin-young gave each member a commemorative plaque made up of 20 don of pure gold to celebrate the achievement. “It’s worth about 14 million won per person,” he noted.
Felix shared, “PD Park Jin-young said that he received a gift during a group meal and handed the gold to each member one by one.” When asked where the gold is now, Felix jokingly responded: “It’s just sitting next to my closet in my room.”
Felix also reflected on the group’s emotional victory at Daesang MAMA Awards 2025held last month in Hong Kong. Her tearful reaction to the ceremony attracted widespread attention.
“As we went on stage, I remembered watching MOM together in our dorm, eating chicken and wondering if we would ever win a Daesang,” he said. “I cried because I was really happy. We all kept crying that day.” Looking back on his days as an intern, Felix revealed the intense routine that shaped him. “We practiced together from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., then we practiced individually until 5 a.m. We barely slept. It was really blood, sweat and tears.”
