On the July 20 episode of the SBS variety show Uh, but like, seriously!Yunho appeared as a guest along with Sunmi and Jonathan.
During the show, Tak Jae Hoon told Jonathan, “At 27 you should be dating someone” before suddenly turning to Yunho and asking, “You were dating when you were 27, right?”
Yunho surprised everyone by saying: “When I was 27, I informed my company that I wanted to get married.”
Explaining why he had made that decision at the time, he said, “My parents got married when they were 27, so I declared that I would also get married at 27 because I wanted to follow in their footsteps.”
He continued, “Producer Lee Soo Man told me, ‘Getting married is fine, but it’s better to wait a while before having children.’ If the opportunity arises, I would still like to get married. Every time I see my grandchildren, my heart flutters.”
Tak Jae Hoon then asked: “Have you ever been dumped by a woman?” Yunho replied: “I’ve been dumped four times by the same woman.”
He went on to explain, “The worst kind of man in the world is a busy man. Being an idol, I often traveled abroad. When something happened to the other person, simply being there without saying anything was important, but realistically, I couldn’t do that.”
Hearing this, comedian Lee Soo Ji asked: “So you were a bad guy?” Yunho answered honestly, “I really was. Nowadays you can make a video call, but back then that wasn’t easy either.”
Tak Jae Hoon then joked, “I guess he wasn’t a celebrity.” Yunho replied, “I’ll leave that to your imagination.”
