Set to premiere on June 26, SBS’ new Friday-Saturday drama Agent Kim Reactivated tells the story of the “world’s most ordinary father” who transforms into the “world’s most dangerous man” to save his only daughter. Based on the webtoon Naver of the same name, the series brings together writer Nam Dae Joong, known for the film Love Reset, along with directors Lee Seung Young of Wonderful World and Voice 2, and up-and-coming director Lee So Eun.
The first teaser, released on June 1, opens in a chilling nocturnal setting. Manager Kim, played by So Ji Sub, is seen opening the door of a mysterious container while saying, “Where are you?”
After leaving behind his intense past as a North-South undercover operative, Manager Kim lived a quiet life as an ordinary employee and devoted father, honoring his late wife’s last wish. However, everything changes when his daughter Min Ji, played by Seo Soo Min, is heard crying for help. As danger approaches in the pouring rain, Manager Kim adjusts his glasses and finally awakens the terrifying side of himself he’s kept hidden for years.
The teaser then shifts gears with the caption “The most ordinary father is coming,” introducing an explosive action spectacle led by a group of extraordinary dads. Manager Kim appears in a torn shirt revealing a sculpted physique, while Sung Han Soo, played by Choi Dae Hoon, is ready for battle in a taekwondo uniform. Meanwhile, Park Jin Chul, played by Yoon Kyung Ho, makes a dramatic entrance in military fatigues, shouting “Rock and Roll!” while firing a bazooka.
As a voice declares: “A man who has lived in silence for over a decade has suddenly exploded,” manager Kim issues a chilling warning: “If you touch even a single hair on my daughter’s head…”

The teaser intensifies with a series of adrenaline-pumping action scenes. Park Jin Chul showcases monstrous strength with his bare-knuckle fighting skills, while Sung Han Soo performs powerful flying kicks. Together, the trio’s unexpected action chemistry delivers a rush of excitement and promises spectacular fight sequences throughout the series.
The tension rises even more with the mysterious appearances of Joo Kang Chan, played by Joo Sang Wook, who sports a sinister smile; Sang Ah, played by Son Na Eun, who appears visibly upset; and Kang Sung, a South Korean secret agent played by Kim Sung Kyu.

The teaser ends with what many viewers are already calling the highlight of the preview. Filled with rage, Manager Kim delivers a devastating punch that sends an attacker flying in a single blow, creating a satisfying, cathartic ending that perfectly captures the drama’s revenge-driven energy.
With its blend of explosive action, father-daughter emotional bonds and larger-than-life characters, Agent Kim Reactivated is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Korean dramas of the summer.
Agent Kim Reactivated will premiere on June 26 at 9:50 pm KST on SBS.
