On July 9, TOP held a free fan meeting for approximately 10,000 members of its official Japanese community at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama. During a segment where he spoke directly to fans, an 82-year-old woman was invited on stage, surprising both TOP and the audience. She revealed that she has been a fan of the rapper since BIGBANG’s debut, prompting loud cheers and applause from the audience.
Upon hearing her age, TOP couldn’t hide his shock, opening his mouth in disbelief before silently giving her a deep 90-degree bow to express his gratitude.
When the host asked her how she felt after finally meeting TOP in person, the fan smiled brightly and replied, “I am happy.” When asked what she liked most about him, she answered without hesitation, “Anything,” creating one of the hottest moments of the event.
When invited to share a message with TOP, the fan sincerely said: “I’m so happy I was able to meet you.” Moved by her words, TOP approached and embraced her in a heartfelt hug, eliciting enthusiastic applause and applause from the audience.
Taking the stage in an all-black outfit, TOP also performed his solo track “Studio54” live, showcasing the rapping skills and commanding stage presence that have defined his career. Combined with the touching meeting with his 82-year-old fan, the performance made his first fan meeting to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut an unforgettable experience for attendees.
As the event drew to a close, TOP thanked fans for their support.
“I was really nervous before going on stage, but after seeing you all in person, I realized how much I want to meet you even more through performances,” he said. “I will continue to return with even better stages in the future.”
The Yokohama event marks the start of TOP’s first Asian fan meeting tour, “TOP PRE-STUDIO 2026”. Further tour dates and host cities will be announced gradually through its official channels.
