Actress Kim Ji Soo has opened up about her new life in Prague assuring fans that she won’t be moving away from acting.

On July 9, the veteran star shared a heartfelt update on social media, reflecting on his slower pace of life after more than three decades in the entertainment industry and addressing the rumors sparked by his recent career move.

According to SportsKhan, posting photos from Petřín Park, one of his favorite places in Prague, Kim described how life is different compared to his years of non-stop work.

“After acting and going for over 30 years, I have never had a moment like this,” she wrote. She explained that even during breaks between projects, she found it difficult to truly rest because she was constantly thinking about her next role and felt like she was always being chased.

Kim also spoke about her new chapter as director of her own travel agency, Jisu in Prague, which she launched in March. The company offers guided tours in Prague, Český Krumlov and Dresden, Germany.

While she admitted that running a business comes with its challenges, she shared that the experience helped her appreciate life in a different way. He said running a business is not something that can be sustained through determination alone, but he believes every experience has value. His new business has led some fans to wonder whether he has quietly left the entertainment industry.

Kim responded directly to these questions, saying that people she meets through social media and her travel company often ask her if she plans to continue acting. “I’m not retired~,” she responded, making it clear that she still intends to return to the screen, AllKPop reported.

Kim’s message reassured longtime supporters who have followed her career since her acting debut in 1992.

While she is currently taking a break from television following her role in the 2024 JTBC drama “Family by Choice,” she stressed that this period is simply giving her the opportunity to enjoy life from a new perspective rather than marking the end of her acting journey.
