According to reports, JYP Entertainment filed trademarks on April 23 for 4 new names in both Korean and English: KIRAKLETIRUMICO, CAPPUSIA and CHERYSHA. Among them, KIRAKLE is attracting the most attention from K-pop fans, as it has been filed under an entertainment services category. Because of this, many are wondering if it could be the name of JYP’s next girl group or a new unit.
The trademark categories for the 4 names appear to be different. CAPPUSIA was reportedly filed in Class 18 for bags, while CHERYSHA was filed in Classes 14 and 16, covering items such as accessories and printed goods. TIRUMICO has been filed in classes 3, 9 and 14, which include cosmetics, apps and accessories.
Unlike the others, KIRAKLE it was reportedly the only name filed in Class 41, which covers entertainment services. This has led to speculation about it KIRAKLE could be related to a new artist project, girl group or unit name. Fans are also comparing the situation to NMIXXfor which JYP has registered the trademark NMIXX in September 2021 before officially debuting with the group approximately 5 months later in February 2022.
While nothing has been confirmed, the timing and category of filing have been made KIRAKLE the strongest candidate among the newly discovered names. The documents also suggest that JYP Entertainment may continue to expand its intellectual property, merchandising and lifestyle business.
Between March and May 2025, JYP reportedly filed for numerous trademarks, including DOUBLETHECAKE, dodree and D25, in categories such as cosmetics, content, apparel, accessories and entertainment. Among them, dodree has already been confirmed as a female duo under JYP-affiliated INNIT Entertainment, with their debut expected in February 2026. For this reason, fans are paying close attention to the possibility that the latest names could also become future artist brands or related merchandise lines.
Additional documents related to Stray children AND NEXZ SKZ has also been spotted has been filed under Class 16 for printed materials, leading some to believe it may be linked to it Stray children character brand SKZOO. JYP had already won a legal battle relating to the SKZOO trademark, with the registration announcement for the Class 25 completed on January 22, 2025.

In the meantime, NEXZOObelieved to be the character brand of JYP’s global boy group NEXZit was filed in Class 38, which covers telecommunications and broadcasting. This has sparked speculation that JYP may be preparing its own broadcast or streaming-related content for the brand.
For now, JYP Entertainment has not officially announced whether KIRAKLE is connected to a new girl group. However, the trademark filing has already become a hot topic among K-pop fans awaiting the company’s next move.
