BTS’ V pleads with fans to stop waiting outside hotels during tour

On July 1, V shared a message via the fan communication platform, thanking fans for their warm support but asking them to stop gathering outside the hotels where BTS members are staying.

“I’m really grateful to everyone who comes to support us, but if possible, I would appreciate it if you didn’t come all the way to the hotel,” he wrote. V explained that he prefers not to share his accommodation publicly and said the situation may affect his condition before shows.

The singer added that one of the most meaningful parts of the tour is the chance to explore each country in his free time. “During the tour, being able to visit good restaurants and walk comfortably is very valuable to me. I hope people don’t come to hotels anymore. I would really appreciate your consideration.”

Alongside the message, V shared a screenshot of his sleep data showing he had only slept 2 hours and 27 minutes, including 21 minutes of REM sleep and 37 minutes of deep sleep, highlighting the lack of adequate rest. V’s comments come shortly after BIG HIT MUSIC reiterated its strong stance against stalking and invasions of artists’ privacy.

The agency revealed that an individual accused of repeated stalking and trespassing at an artist’s residence was arrested and detained for approximately three months before being brought to trial. The court ultimately sentenced the defendant to one year in prison, suspended for two years.

BIG HIT emphasized that waiting outside artists’ homes or living quarters, loitering nearby, or leaving unsolicited gifts are not expressions of support but criminal acts. The agency pledged to continue taking immediate legal action, including reporting such incidents to the police.

BTS kicked off the European leg of their “BTS ‘ARIRANG’ WORLD TOUR” on June 26 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid, Spain. The group will hold 10 concerts in five European cities, including Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich and Paris.
