THE BOYZ Publicly Dispute Agency Claims ‘Payments Completed’ as Contract Lawsuit and Allegations Intensify

THE BOYZ have publicly rejected claims from their agency, One Hundred Label, that all settlement payments have been completed, as their contract lawsuit and criminal charges against company executives continue to mount in court and in the media.

Public Rejection of “Payments Completed” Complaint.

On April 22 KST, THE BOYZ’s legal representative at Yulchon Law Firm released a detailed statement disputing One Hundred Label’s announcement that it had finished paying the group’s settlements.

The attorney said that since the agency’s “payment completed” notice was issued and even now, members have not received any money for the third and fourth quarters of 2025, nor any of the outstanding amounts referenced by the agency.

The statement adds that the agency repeatedly postponed and reversed payment deadlines during previous negotiations and court proceedings, but never actually transferred the promised funds, according to Allkpop.

THE BOYZ have warned that they see the agency’s statements as attempts to mislead the public and have vowed to respond with firm civil and criminal action if what they see as false claims and attacks continue.

The payment dispute is part of a larger legal battle that began when nine members of THE BOYZ, excluding New, filed for a temporary injunction in February 2026 to stay the effect of their exclusive contracts with One Hundred Label.

Their legal team claims the agency has not paid adequate earnings for any of the group’s assets since July 2025, after the last payment for the second quarter of that year.

The artists also say the company refused numerous requests to provide accounting documents and basic contracts, which they needed to verify how their income was calculated and distributed. Yulchon describes this as a serious breach of contract and a “collapse of trust” that members say cannot be repaired, the Korea Times reported.

Agency response and mounting accusations

One Hundred Label has rejected the group’s attempt to terminate the contracts and insists it has met its financial obligations. The company says any delays in settlement were temporary and says it has completed or is ready to complete payments, including delayed interest.

It also dismissed the embezzlement charges against CEO Cha Ga-won as false, after THE BOYZ filed a complaint under Korea’s Law on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes.

As hearings continue at the Seoul Central District Court, the group’s legal team is asking the court to quickly grant the injunction so that members can conduct business under stable conditions while the main dispute over money and management is resolved, as per Koreaboo.
