iKON lights up Manila with an electrifying “FOUREVER” concert and a promise of comeback

iKON made a highly anticipated return to the concert stage in the Philippines on July 5 when the group brought their ‘FOUREVER’ tour to Manila, giving Philippine iKONICs a night full of powerful performances, emotional moments and the promise of coming back.

Held at the SMX Convention Center in Manila, the concert marked iKON’s first group show in the country two years after their “LIMITED TOUR – GET BACK” concert in April 2024.

Members JAY, SONG, BOBBY and CHAN reunited with fans through a high-energy show that highlighted the group’s signature performance style.

Wearing red outfits, iKON immediately set the mood with their opening song “Ah Yeah”, followed by energetic phases of “Tantara”, “BLING BLING” and “SINOSIJAK”. The crowd responded with equal enthusiasm, filling the venue with cheers and red lights all night long.

According to GMA, the group also performed some of their biggest hits, including “LOVE SCENARIO,” “KILLING ME” and “RHYTHM TA.” Fans sang along to songs that have remained special throughout iKON’s career, showing the strong bond between the group and their Filipino supporters.

During the concert, the members expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome they received from fans in Manila.

“I think whether it’s a song old or new, the support Filipino fans show us is amazing,” the members shared. “Our venue today is very large. We are very grateful to you for filling this venue. We are truly touched.”

iKON continued the exciting celebration with live performances of songs such as “AIRPLANE,” “GOODBYE ROAD,” and “LONG TIME NO SEE.” Their vocals and stage presence reminded fans why the group has remained a strong name in K-pop since their debut in 2015.

Beyond the performances, the members shared heartfelt messages about their relationship with the Philippines’ iKONIC. CHAN told fans that iKON would return to the Philippines next year, while BOBBY promised to continue showing love and support, AllKPop reported.

“You know we’ve always loved you so much. We’ll do our best to show you love and we’ll do our best to be there for you,” BOBBY said. “Please promise me this: Please stay by our side until the day I die.”

JAY also thanked fans for their continued support, saying, “All the members are always excited to come back to the Philippines because you love us and care for us continuously. To pay it forward, we will do our best to show the best of what we can.”
