On May 5, Kook Dong Ho’s agency Mood released a lengthy official statement addressing what they described as the spread of false information and defamation linked to the reality show star.
According to the statement, all allegations currently circulating in online communities are completely false. The agency has firmly stated that the claims are “Unfounded accusations and without any proof.”
They also addressed rumors involving third parties. “We have directly verified the facts regarding the people mentioned online (whose names have been changed several times by the accuser). We have confirmed that these people have absolutely no connection with this incident,” the agency explained. They added that dragging unrelated people into the situation had caused confusion and expressed strong regret for the distortion of facts.
The agency also refuted four major claims made by the accuser, stressing that they are all false. These included allegations that Kook Dong Ho orchestrated school violence through others, and that he publicly humiliated someone in front of students in the so-called “cake accident”, that he abandoned his professional career as an accountant to become an influencer and caused psychological harm through media exposure, and that the accuser suffered professional harm after sharing these claims on social media.
Previously, on May 3, an online user publicly accused Kook Dong Ho via personal social media, claiming that he was being bullied at school by a “Singles’ Hell 4” competitor. The accuser wrote: “While the show was airing, I felt like I was living in hell. I was a victim of both violence at school and harassment in the workplace.”
However, Kook Dong Ho has consistently denied any involvement, stating: “I clearly have no connection to these incidents.” Despite his denial, the accuser continued to post claims, escalating the conflict between both sides.
