Tintin, a member of Thai band New Country, has officially put an end to the paternity controversy surrounding him after a DNA test confirmed he is the biological father of actress and singer Farida Elizabeth’s unborn child.
The scandal first broke in early June, when Farida Elizabeth announced her pregnancy via social media, claiming that Tintin was the baby’s father. Since Tintin is a member of the emerging group New Country, the news spread quickly throughout Thailand and attracted the attention of fans both domestically and internationally.
As the controversy intensified, Tintin’s agency, Grammy Gold (GMM Music), released an official statement on June 8 announcing that all of its activities would be suspended until the facts surrounding the situation were verified.

According to Thai media Thairath, the two have decided to undergo a DNA test to resolve the matter once and for all. Although the exam was originally scheduled for June 20, both sides agreed to bring it forward to the morning of June 18 to ensure greater transparency. Each witnessed the procedure with their representatives present during sample collection.
The results later confirmed a 99.99% chance that Tintin is the child’s biological father. After the confirmation, the idol publicly accepted the outcome and reiterated that he intends to fulfill his responsibilities as the child’s father.

After the DNA test results were finalized, Tintin and Farida made their first public appearance together on 29 June, appearing on Channel 3’s current affairs talk show in Thailand. Hone-Krasaewho previously featured separate interviews with both individuals during the controversy.
During the broadcast, Farida proposed that the two should equally share the costs related to prenatal care, childbirth and raising the child after birth, saying she believed it was the fairest solution for both of them. Tintin readily agreed, promising that he would faithfully cover his share of the expenses.

One of the most talked about moments of the program was when the host encouraged Tintin to put his hand on Farida’s bump for the first time. Farida said the baby kicked at that moment, creating a noticeably warmer atmosphere between the two.
When asked if he wanted to say anything to his unborn child, Tintin responded emotionally, saying: “Daddy loves you. No matter what happens, I will always love you.” Although their interaction seemed a little awkward, the candid exchange quickly went viral online, with many viewers commenting that the two had taken an important first step towards co-parenting.
