To mark the occasion, she published several photographs taken when she was still a high school student in magazines. In the old images, Ruby Lin wore typical 1990s clothing, including a cap, overalls, and simple knitwear. Her round face, big eyes and familiar dimpled smile immediately caught fans’ attention.

As the area was undergoing pest control treatment, many cockroaches reportedly appeared along the road. The unexpected sight forced mother and daughter to move away quickly.
Ruby Lin joked that the incident would probably become an unforgettable memory for her daughter’s first trip to Tamsui.
