Thai actor Nine Naphat has once again become the center of attention after reportedly attending a close friend’s wedding to a mystery woman, sparking speculation that he has officially moved on following his breakup with actress Baifern Pimchanok.
On the morning of June 12, Line Today reported that the popular Thai star unexpectedly appeared at a friend’s wedding together with an unidentified woman. Both the media and public immediately speculated that she could be Nine’s new girl following her much-publicised split from Baifern.
Thai media were quick to praise the appearance of the woman seen accompanying Nine to the event. In the photos, she showed off a petite build and delicate facial features, giving off a soft and charming impression. However, many observers pointed out that compared to Thai girlfriend Baifern Pimchanok, Nine’s alleged new partner is still a little inferior in terms of star beauty.
Interestingly, despite arriving together, Nine appeared to maintain some distance from the woman in group photos taken after the wedding, further fueling public curiosity about the true nature of their relationship.
Just a month ago, Nine surprised fans during an interview with Thai media by confirming that she was dating someone outside of the entertainment industry following her breakup with Baifern. At the time, the actor explained that he preferred to keep his partner’s identity private to protect her privacy.
“I am currently dating someone outside of the entertainment industry. I want things to progress naturally and slowly. I would like to keep this relationship private and respect both his and his family’s privacy. In short, my heart is already taken.” Nine shared.
Before going public with his new romance, Nine had a much-discussed relationship with actress Baifern Pimchanok, who is four years his senior. The pair worked together for the first time in friend zone AND A history of ylang ylangthen confirming in 2023 that they were getting to know each other romantically, sending fans into a frenzy.
However, in July 2024, the Nine officially confirmed their breakup. In particular, speculation has spread quickly online that Nine’s mother, former beauty queen and actress Moo Pimpaka, may have played a role in the couple’s split.
Moo Pimpaka had previously encouraged his son to pursue Baifern, but reports claimed his attitude had changed several months into their relationship. Fans noticed that she no longer followed Nine and Baifern on social media, frequently shared nostalgic posts about her son as a child, and hinted at loneliness while the couple vacationed together in Switzerland in June 2024. These incidents fueled online rumors that Nine had been pressured by his mother to end the relationship. Reports also claimed that Moo had previously intervened in another of Nine’s relationships with a non-celebrity partner.
Born in 1996, Nine Naphat – whose real name is Naphat Siangsomboon – grew up with his mother after his parents divorced and adopted her surname. As a child he was often teased for being overweight, but he later transformed himself through rigorous daily exercise, including running, swimming, push-ups and sit-ups.
Nine entered the Thai entertainment industry as a commercial model before signing an exclusive contract with Channel 3. Early in his career, he avoided taking on too many acting projects to focus on his education. In 2018, at the age of 22, he graduated from Mahidol University International College in Bangkok with a degree in Communications.
Throughout his career, Nine has gained widespread popularity across Asia through hit dramas and films such as Rak Kan Panlawan, Tee Krai Tee MunAND friend zone.
