NCT 127 have officially confirmed their future together after all seven members renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment.
The agency announced on July 15 that Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo and Haechan have chosen to continue with the company, giving fans more reasons to celebrate as the group celebrates its 10th anniversary.
According to SM Entertainment, the members made the decision together based on the strong friendship they have built over the years and the trust they share with the agency. In its official statement, the company expressed gratitude to both the artists and their fans, while promising continued support for the group’s future activities.
According to Complex, SM said, “This renewal reflects the unwavering teamwork and strong bond the members have built over the years, as well as the mutual trust between the artists and the company.”
The contract renewal also confirms NCT 127’s current seven-member lineup following the departures of Mark in April and Winwin earlier this month. With the future decided, the group prepares for a challenging second half of 2026.
NCT 127 announces new album
Fans won’t have to wait long for new music. NCT 127’s seventh full-length album will be released on August 24, AllKPop reported.
SM Entertainment has described the upcoming album as the start of a “new era” for the group, adding excitement to an already significant anniversary.
Shortly after the album’s release, NCT 127 will launch their fifth concert tour, “NEO CITY – THE REDLINE”. The tour will begin with three performances at KSPO DOME in Seoul from September 18-20 before expanding to major cities in Asia.
The group’s schedule includes concerts in Jakarta on October 3, Hong Kong on October 10 and 11, Singapore on October 18, Bangkok on October 31 and November 1 and Taipei on January 2, 2027.
The new tour follows “THE MOMENTUM” and continues NEO CITY’s long series of concerts that first began in 2019.
Over the past decade, NCT 127 has built a loyal global fan base through energetic performances and hit songs such as “Fire Truck”, “Cherry Bomb”, “Kick It” and “2 Baddies”. Their music and stage presence have helped them become one of the most prominent groups in K-pop.
The contract renewal, next album and international tour are all part of the group’s larger 10th anniversary celebration, “NCT 2026: Everything, All at Once.” The campaign will also include pop-up events and the “NEO DIMENSION” exhibition later this year.
