On April 15, a video showing him meeting Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, the lead actresses of the upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2, was posted on Go Hyun-jung’s official channel.
Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, who visited Korea to promote The Devil Wears Prada 2, made a special appearance on Go Hyun-jung’s YouTube channel “Go Hyun-jung”.
A private teatime interview was arranged between Go Hyun-jung, known as a fan of the film, and the two Hollywood stars. After seeing Go Hyun-jung prepare for the interview, Meryl Streep immediately admired her beauty, saying, “She’s really beautiful.”
During the interview, Go Hyun-jung asked, “I’m also an actress, and there are times when filming becomes really difficult. At those times, I find comfort in eating food or listening to music. Do you also have such moments?”
Meryl Streep responded: “After I finish filming The Devil Wears Prada 2, I feel happy the moment I take off my high heels. I also feel joy when I look into the eyes of my rescue dog. That dog simply loves me. When we go for a walk together, all the stress of the day disappears.”
Anne Hathaway added: “As I’ve gotten older, younger actors sometimes come to me for advice. I tell them, ‘Think about whether you really love working.’ Acting involves working with a team you can’t really complain about, and some projects require a lot of energy or may have difficult conditions on set. However, this movie was different. Since we shot in New York, I thought, ‘After filming, I’ll go home and see my family and my dog.’”
Meanwhile, The Devil Wears Prada 2 will be released on the 29th.
