A new episode was uploaded to the YouTube channel on June 8th Zzanbro Shin Dong Yes under the title “MAMAMOO Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, Hwasa [Zzanbro EP.148] When MAMAMOO comes together, anything is possible.”
During the episode, the members named Solar the funniest member of the group and shared various behind-the-scenes stories about his personality. Solar in particular described herself as having a strong “T” type personality according to the MBTI system, joking, “Members think I’m a robot.”
He then surprised everyone by talking about a road accident the group had experienced in the past while on their way to an event location. Although fortunately no one suffered serious injuries, the situation would have been extremely dangerous.
Moonbyul recalled the frightening memory, saying: “I thought I was dead. I was trapped between the airbags and couldn’t see the members anywhere, so I thought I had gone to heaven.” He added that the members were so shocked immediately after the incident that they could barely speak.
However, Solar admitted that his reaction was very different. “The other three are very ‘F’ types, but I’m a ‘T,’ so while I was sitting there, I was thinking, ‘What do we do if we can’t make it to the event? The penalty is triple,'” he confessed honestly.
He went on to explain that after checking to see if the members were okay, he immediately contacted the company to explain the situation. “I thought if we got checked out in the emergency room and were fine, it would be better to delay the event rather than cancel it altogether.” he said. Surprisingly, the members revealed that they actually performed at the scheduled event after receiving medical treatment.
Soon the atmosphere became carefree again. While discussing the incident, the members noticed a curry stain on Solar’s pants. They burst out laughing and said: “Every time we watch Solar, we can’t stop laughing. We can never be serious with her.” Solar explained, “I ate curry that day,” sparking more laughter on set.
Solar also emphasized his sense of duty as the group’s leader, saying: “I still feel the responsibility and sense of mission as a leader. I try to stay grounded and keep things together.”
The members, however, jokingly teased her. “We saw your legs shaking because you’re nervous,” they joked, while another member laughed, “How many times have you mentioned being the leader today?”
Moonbyul also chimed in, saying: “He works really hard and because of that we talk a lot more,” before jokingly adding, “But it never calmed us down mentally before a concert.” This elicited laughter from everyone.
Solar eventually admitted, “Honestly, I get nervous too.” but he still insisted, “I am strong when it comes to leadership.” In response, members teased, “She seems drunk” turning the set into laughter once again.
Meanwhile, as MAMAMOO celebrates their 12th debut anniversary, the group continues to reconnect with fans through whole-group activities and various content releases.
