BTS leader RM is receiving mixed reactions after speaking out about Jungkook during a recent live stream.
After BTS’ third concert in Las Vegas, RM went live on Weverse and discussed the making of the group’s album Arirang, including the emotional difficulties the members experienced during and after their military enlistment.
RM revealed that the members reunited after Jin completed his service, but mentally many of them were going through a hard time. He specifically shared that Jungkook had been struggling emotionally and had even cried as the older members talked about the need to keep the team together.
His comments quickly sparked debate online.
Some fans criticized RM for publicly discussing Jungkook’s personal experiences, especially since Jungkook had previously expressed that he didn’t want to talk much about his military life. Critics argued that RM should have allowed Jungkook to decide what details to share.
One viral comment stated: “Jungkook said he doesn’t want to talk about his military experience, but the other members keep mentioning it instead.”
However, many fans defended RM, saying that his intention was not to expose Jungkook’s private life but to honestly reflect the emotional difficulties BTS faced during their time apart. Others praised the group’s close bond and saw the story as evidence of the members’ support for each other during a difficult time.
The situation has since become a hot topic among fans and online communities, with opinions divided over whether RM’s comments crossed a line or simply showed genuine concern for his teammate.
