On June 24, the Korea Economic Daily reported, citing industry sources, that the new season titled “Bitch X Rich” is generating high expectations. The series, which has already become a mega IP after the success of its first two seasons, is known for portraying ambition, desire and conflict among students at an elite private school.
First launched in May 2023, the drama expanded into two seasons and gained global popularity through platforms such as Wavve and Netflix. The next season of Royal Camp continues the established universe while introducing an entirely new narrative.
The new storyline is set in a “transfer camp” for second-year high school students who wish to enter Cheongdam International High School. The central conflict arises when the illegitimate daughter of Taeyang Group president joins the camp to gain recognition from a wealthy family, clashing with the school’s new “queen”.
Miyeon plays Semi, the only daughter of the Taeyang group and the reigning queen of Cheongdam International High School. Semi is a character who grew up as a princess under strong family influence, with a unique personality who feels confident when others feel uncomfortable around her.
