BABYMONSTER is back – and they’ve come stronger than ever. The YG Entertainment girl group has released its third mini album CHOOM on May 4, 2026, breaking its own first-day sales record.
According to the Hanteo Charter, CHOOM it sold 387,871 copies on its first day of sales and reached number one on the iTunes Top Albums charts in 15 regions. The title track, whose name means “dance” in Korean, is a high-energy synth-driven anthem that puts BABYMONSTER’s choreography front and center.
The release marks the group’s first comeback of 2026 and comes without member Rami, who remains on hiatus for health reasons. Despite his absence, the remaining members delivered a well-rounded performance that fans and critics alike praised for its explosive energy and visual impact.
To support the album, BABYMONSTER will embark on the CHOOM World Tour in 2026-27, starting with three shows in Seoul from June 26-28, continuing throughout Japan and additional dates in Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America and South America.
