Thailand’s entertainment industry is currently dealing with one of the most shocking scandals in recent years after explosive allegations involving the powerful Singha business family and actress Mild Lapassalan’s husband emerged.
According to statements circulating widely online on May 9, Hiso Psi – the younger brother of businessman Hiso Pi, who is reportedly the designated heir to the Singha family empire – has publicly accused his older brother of repeated sexual abuse over more than a decade.
In its statement, PSI said the abuse began when he was 12 and continued until he was 24. He said the incidents allegedly occurred inside family residences and other private spaces connected to the family. The PSI also said it has audio recordings relating to the allegations.
The allegations quickly sent shockwaves through Thai social media due to the enormous influence and wealth associated with the Singha family, which is widely recognized as one of Thailand’s most powerful business dynasties.
Psi further stated that several family members had been aware of the situation for years but had intentionally chosen to protect the older brother because he was considered the family’s successor. According to the allegations, the relatives refused to intervene and instead gave priority to preserving the family’s reputation and inheritance structure.
The controversy escalated further after reports emerged that the family would take legal action against Psi, accusing him of damaging the family’s honor and showing “ungratefulness”. Further reports stated that the family had requested the return of assets and inheritance money previously given to him by his grandfather.
The scandal attracted even more public attention because Hiso Pi married actress Mild Lapassalan in December 2025 after about eight years of dating. News currently circulating online also claims that before the wedding, Psi attempted to contact Mild several times to warn her of the situation.
According to the allegations, Mild still proceeded with the wedding and reportedly prevented Psi from attending the ceremony.
The actress is also reportedly pregnant as of May 2026, adding further public scrutiny and emotional attention to the situation.
As the allegations continue to spread rapidly online, Mild Lapassalan has yet to make an official public statement in response to the controversy.
At this stage, the allegations remain statements made publicly by the PSI, and no court ruling or official legal conclusion on the matter has been announced. However, the case has already become one of the most talked about topics in Thai entertainment and social media due to the combination of celebrity involvement, family conflict and the influence of one of Thailand’s richest business clans.
