Japanese actor and comedian Tetsuya Honma has become embroiled in a cheating scandal after allegedly intimate photos with another woman surfaced online shortly before his upcoming wedding.
In early May, rumors spread throughout the Japanese entertainment industry that Tetsuya Honma was having an affair with a married woman. Shortly thereafter, a series of private photos of the actor with the woman began circulating online, along with sexually explicit text messages allegedly exchanged between them.
According to a source cited by Yahoo Japan, the leaked material was provided by the woman’s husband.
Another insider claimed that between late 2023 and early 2024, Honma secretly maintained the relationship despite already having a girlfriend at the time. The source also said that he often invited the woman to his home in Koenji.
At this time, neither Tetsuya Honma nor his agency have publicly addressed the allegations.
Tetsuya Honma, now 43, has built a solid reputation through comedy skits and gained wider recognition for his success on the comedy competition program King of comedy.
At the end of April, the entertainer revealed via his personal social media account that he was preparing for marriage. He shared that his girlfriend is a 30-year-old office worker and said the two have compatible personalities.
