After Seunghan was announced that he was leaving, netizens began boycotting SM Entertainment and RIIZE products, including some major K-Pop stores.

While opinions on X were mixed, with some international fans praising the actions but others finding them pointless, the screenshots made their way to the Korean forum theqoo along with other photos from fans who had placed stickers on other SM artists’ albums regarding the boycott.
Korean netizens criticized the actions, sharing that, in addition to the uselessness, they could be seen as a crime as they damage property meant to be sold.
