The starry case that no one expected.
According to reports on October 4, the South Korean production company ACEMAKER Movieworks has cast four popular female idols from third and fourth generation idol groups in his upcoming thriller, Gory: a horror story.
The idols in question are MAMAMOO‘S Solar, WJSN‘S Eunseo, C remains‘S Sumin and Lovelyz‘S Jisoo.
Gory: a horror story is directed by Hong Won Kiwho also worked in the 2020 series My God and its spin-off, Urban mythsboth horror anthologies based on famous Korean urban legends.
In addition to female idols, the star ensemble also includes Yoo Jae Myungwhose latest work AND Harbina film that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Actress Moon Chae won it’s also inside the cast.
The story of Gory: a horror version follows several characters whose seemingly unrelated experiences turn out to be eerily similar in their intertwined relationships.
The film, produced by Jerrygood Company AND Zanybrosrelease is scheduled for 2025.
