Gyeongseong Creature Season 2released on Netflix on September 27, 2024, it recorded 3.1 million views and placed second in the ranking of the non-English TV series category.
Given the stellar cast and an estimated production cost of a whopping KRW 70.0 billion (about $52.0 million), some express disappointment with his performance.
In addition to the competition from the kitchen, viewers pointed out the plot holes, the lack of depth in fleshing out the characters and the sudden shift to romance – all factors contributing to the decline in viewership.

In response to the fight, Creature Gyeongseong director Jung Dong Yoon he stated in a media interview that the competition and how it affected the rankings does not bother him.
Due to gender differences, I can’t find the comparison with Culinary class wars unattractive. I personally really enjoy watching that show. So I can only hope that they both do well together. I’m not worried about the ranking.
