The VIP premiere of Hope was held on July 14th at Megabox COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. The event was attended by an impressive lineup of stars, including BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Jisoo, Lee Jung-jae, Hyeri, Park Hae-soo, Jin Ki-joo, Lee Ji-ah, Yum Jung-ah, Son Yeon-jae, Cha Tae-hyun, Yoo Teo, Hong Hwa-yeon, Park Ji-hu, Irene, Hong Ye-ji, Im Joo-hwan, Baek Ji-young, Shim Eun-kyung, Ong Seong-wu, Choi Moo-sung, Im Soo-bin and many others.
Among the attendees, Yoo Ah-in also attracted attention after making a rare public appearance. The actor, who was convicted of repeated use of narcotics including propofol and received a one-year prison sentence suspended for two years, was released after serving five months of detention. He attended the event wearing a cap pulled low over his face. Also appearing at the premiere was actor Kwak Do-won, who was previously fined 10 million won after being caught drunk driving in Jeju with a blood alcohol level of 0.158%.
Many celebrities showed off luxury handbags, towering high heels and form-fitting dresses, creating a glamorous atmosphere. In contrast, Kwon Nara immediately caught fans’ attention with his fresh and natural style. He was wearing a plain white short-sleeved T-shirt, baggy pants and a black baseball cap pulled low.
Although the cap covered part of her face, her small face, striking features and tall, slender figure made her instantly recognisable. Although she quietly entered the venue without posing on the official photo wall, fans at the event quickly spotted her and took photos that later spread across social media. Her slim waist, elegant curves and exceptionally long legs became one of the most talked about images of the premiere.
In the meantime, Hope is a science fiction thriller that begins after reports emerge that a tiger has appeared in Hopo Port, a village located near the Korean Demilitarized Zone, throwing the entire community into a panic. Produced on a budget of around 50 billion won, the blockbuster film stars Hwang Jung-min, Jo In-sung and Jung Ho-yeon.
