BTS’ V Makes Emotional Appeal to Fans About Hotel Privacy During BTS World Tour

BTS’ V made a heartfelt request for fans to respect the privacy of BTS members as the group continues its world tour and overseas plans.

On July 1, V shared a message via fan platform Weverse after fans gathered outside the hotel where he was staying in Paris during Paris Men’s Fashion Week activities and the group’s European tour schedule.

While expressing gratitude for the fans’ warm support, the singer asked them not to wait outside hotels or share information about members’ locations.

“I am really grateful that you welcomed us so warmly, but if possible, I would appreciate if you could refrain from coming to hotels,” V wrote. According to AllKPop, he added that the situation was affecting his condition and rest during the trip.

“I also don’t want to share where we will stay, and it will affect our performance status,” he explained. “While we are on tour, the time we have to try local restaurants, wander around and comfortably enjoy each country is incredibly precious.”

V also shared a screenshot of his sleep tracker, revealing that he had only slept two hours and 27 minutes. The image showed limited deep sleep and REM sleep, highlighting how little rest he had had during his busy schedule.

The singer’s message quickly gained attention online as many fans expressed support for his request and encouraged others to respect personal boundaries.

BTS continues their European tour

The situation comes shortly after BigHit Music reiterated its strict policy against stalking, violations and invasions of privacy involving members of BTS.

In a statement released on June 29, the agency said it continues to take legal action against people who overstep personal boundaries, MB reported. The company said that waiting in artists’ residences or living quarters, leaving gifts or following them into private spaces are not acts of support but criminal behavior.

BigHit Music also warned that both Korean and foreign violators could face legal punishment, deportation and possible entry bans into South Korea.

This isn’t the first time BTS members have spoken openly about privacy concerns. Earlier this year, Jungkook addressed fans after people reportedly gathered near his home following a running event in Seoul.

Meanwhile, BTS recently kicked off the European leg of their “BTS World Tour ‘ARIRANG'” in Madrid, Spain. The group will perform in several cities, including Brussels, London, Munich and Paris.

Despite the ongoing tour, BTS continues to perform strongly on global music charts. Their latest album, “ARIRANG,” remained in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 for 12 weeks, while the title track “SWIM” extended its run on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
