On June 6, Jung Ga Eun took to her personal social media account and explained her recent absence from the public eye. “I’ve been a little quiet lately, haven’t I? I was busy focusing on rehearsals, but in the middle of all this I also got sick and ended up in the hospital,” he wrote.
Despite undergoing treatment, Jung Ga Eun said she continued to prepare for her stage production. “Even during treatment, I continued to read the script and worked really hard to prepare for the show Dangerous people. Today I finally go on stage. I will greet you sincerely through my performance,” he added, including the hashtag “#hospital bed fight.”
He later revealed the reason for his hospitalization, saying: “There was a hole in my lung. Don’t worry too much!!! I was discharged safely and now I’m healthy and back to acting in the show!” His update quickly sparked concern among fans.
Alongside the post, Jung Ga Eun shared photos of herself lying in a hospital bed with a tube attached to her nose. His noticeably slimmer appearance and visibly tired condition have left many fans worried.
However, in photos taken after her discharge, the actress looked much brighter, smiled warmly and looked significantly healthier as she prepared to return to the stage, reassuring supporters of her recovery.
Meanwhile, Jung Ga Eun raised her daughter as a single mother after her divorce in 2018. In addition to her career in entertainment, she has remained active in various fields, including obtaining a taxi driver’s license and undertaking theater projects.
