On June 4, Park Han Byul shared a short video on his social media account along with the caption, “I was waiting for the story about becoming a gyaru to come out, but I thought the ‘moshi moshi’ trend might pass, so I’ll share it soon.” In the clip, the actress is seen happily dancing in the middle of a road to the beats of a song that is currently trending online.
What particularly surprised viewers was Park Han Byul’s bold gyaru-inspired makeup, which gave her a completely different look from her usual image. He also teased the upcoming content by writing, “Please look forward to next week’s ‘Park Han Byul Hana’ and ‘Byuldabang’ content,” sparking anticipation among fans.
The post immediately sparked enthusiastic reactions from followers. Comments like “You look so beautiful in gyaru style,” “I thought you were Japanese,” and “I’ve never seen someone wear makeup so good in gyaru” flooded the comments section.
Park Han Byul previously retired from acting after her husband, former Yuri Holdings CEO Yoo In Suk, became embroiled in the high-profile Burning Sun scandal in 2019. Yoo was later sentenced to one year and eight months in prison, suspended for three years, on charges including organizing prostitution and embezzlement.

Following the controversy, Park moved to Jeju Island, where she quietly ran a bar and stayed out of the spotlight. In 2024, he made his return to television after about five years through TV’s reality show Chosun With Father and Me, garnering warm responses from viewers.
During the show, Park reflected on the difficult time around 2019, admitting that “every single day felt like hell.” She revealed that advertisements and casting opportunities disappeared overnight, while strangers also came looking for her at home. Explaining why she chose not to divorce despite the difficulties, Park emotionally shared, “My children did nothing wrong and I couldn’t take our family away. As a mother, I made the best decision I could,” eventually breaking down in tears.
