According to The Paper, Chinese actor Jin Ze’s management agency confirmed that the actor died at his home in Hangzhou on June 4. His family was experiencing deep grief and asked the public to stop spreading unverified claims about his death. No further details on the cause of death were provided in the report.
Born in Shandong Province in 1993, Jin Ze graduated from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. He began his career as a model before turning to acting, attracting attention for his striking looks and tall physique.
In recent years he has become particularly active in China’s rapidly growing short film industry. He appeared in numerous romance, urban and youth productions, gradually building a dedicated fan base. His acting credits included Hello, Joann, Forget about you, remember love, Start again, Beauty’s Jade Dragon AND Don’t fall in love with the boss.

Jin Ze also had an unreleased project titled Waiting for the flowers to bloom, waiting for you to return. According to the Hongguo Short Drama platform, the production had already received more than 1.48 million advance bookings.
His last post on Weibo was reportedly uploaded on May 6. At the time, Jin Ze shared his excitement after completing filming a new project in which he played the lead role. Following the news of his death, fans flooded social media with messages of grief. Many have said they were waiting for his next works and were devastated by his sudden passing.
