Danielle has quietly made a charitable donation despite currently being at the center of a major legal dispute involving ADOR.
The news comes as Danielle faces growing public attention over an ongoing legal dispute reportedly involving compensation claims exceeding 43 billion won.
According to Korean media reports, the Yana Association recently revealed that Danielle donated 10 million won earlier this year to support single-parent families during the Lunar New Year holiday in February. The donation was reportedly used to prepare gift packages containing meat and fruit for 100 disadvantaged families.
The organization shared, “Thanks to Danielle’s generosity, the holiday season has become warmer for many single-parent families.”
Many netizens were surprised to learn that the idol made the donation quietly, without announcing it publicly through the media or social platforms.
The news emerged as Danielle continues to make headlines over the ongoing controversy surrounding ADOR. Last December, ADOR announced the termination of its exclusive contract with Danielle, claiming that the company could no longer continue working with her as one of its artists.
The agency also said it will pursue legal liability against a member of Danielle’s family and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. According to the company, these people were involved in causing conflicts that contributed to NewJeans distancing itself from the agency and delaying the group’s activities.
Reports further stated that ADOR filed a lawsuit seeking around 43 billion won in damages. The defendants reportedly include Danielle, a member of his family, and Min Hee Jin.
Adding even more attention to the case, Korean media recently reported that all five lawyers from Kim & Chang, the law firm representing ADOR, had collectively withdrawn from the case.
The latest developments have only intensified public interest in the legal battle, which continues to generate heated discussions online and throughout the Korean entertainment industry.
