On April 27, Lee Young Ji posted a photo on her social media story along with the caption, “Have a nice day.” In the image, Lee Young Ji is seen taking a mirror selfie inside a moving car, bathed in natural sunlight.
What caught the most attention was the clearer and refreshed eye area after the procedure. Her under-eye area appeared smoother and more set, highlighting her flawless skin and more defined facial features, giving off a radiant and improved appearance.
Lee Young Ji previously surprised fans by revealing the procedure during a concert held on March 19 at Incheon’s Inspire Arena, where she appeared as a guest for SEVENTEEN members DK and Seungkwan. She took the stage wearing sunglasses and explained, “I’m not being disrespectful by wearing sunglasses on my seniors’ stage. I had fat repositioning surgery under my eyes a few days ago, so I had no choice.”
Later, while communicating with fans, he shared more about his decision. Lee Young Ji admitted that she hesitated to talk about it because she feared it might seem like she was encouraging cosmetic procedures. However, she chose to be honest, explaining that although she didn’t feel tired, she was often told she looked exhausted, which led her to carefully consider the procedure for four years before finally deciding to go through with it.
She also added that this would be her first and last cosmetic procedure, stating that she has no plans for further surgeries in the future, once again demonstrating her straightforward and laid-back personality.
