On April 24, YouTube channel Vogue Korea released a video titled “Why did Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Jang Wonyoung reunite at Vogue Korea?”
In the video, Jang Wonyoung stepped in as an interviewer for the film The Devil Wears Prada 2meeting its leading actresses Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. After meeting Hathaway for the first time, Wonyoung introduced himself by saying: “I’m Jang Wonyoung.” Hathaway responded warmly, “Pleased to meet you,” adding, “Your outfit is so beautiful today. You really look like Andy Sachs.”
Jang Wonyoung conducted the interview smoothly in fluent English, impressing Hathaway. The actress noted: “It’s definitely not easy to interview in English, so I really appreciate it. We haven’t had a chance to learn Korean yet.”
When shown photos of Wonyoung in his style of clothing, Hathaway exclaimed: “Oh my God, so cute,” expressing his admiration. Wonyoung shyly denied the compliment, while Meryl Streep joined in saying: “She’s like a flower” continuing the praise.
