Katseye frontman Sophia Laforteza was recently spotted at Hong Kong Disneyland with rumored boyfriend Leon Barretto and their families, reigniting dating speculation that has followed the couple for months.
Leon posted photos from the January 2026 trip on Instagram, showing the group enjoying the theme park’s rides and attractions. The Internet sensation, younger brother of Filipino actress Julia Barretto, captioned the post: “Starting the year at the happiest place on earth with the people I love the most.”
He was accompanied by his mother, Marjorie Barretto, and sisters Dani and Erich, while Sophia brought her family along for the holiday.
The Disneyland sighting comes shortly after a video circulated online showing Sophia and Leon sharing a New Year’s Eve kiss at midnight. Although the quality of the footage was reportedly poor, fans on social media platforms interpreted it as confirmation of their romantic relationship. Dating rumors between the two intensified in early January 2026 when a video surfaced showing them holding hands during an outing, according to Koreaboo. Previous speculation dates back to September 2025, when photos of the couple in close-up poses went viral on social media.
In December 2025, eagle-eyed fans noticed what appeared to be intimate photos of a couple displayed in Leon’s home throughout his Instagram Story, and many assumed the images depicted him and Sophia.
The 22-year-old influencer and the Katseye star have known each other since high school, having attended the same school in the Philippines, GMA Network reported. They even went to prom together in 2020, with Sophia’s mother posting about the occasion on social media at the time.
