As of the afternoon of December 1, social media accounts operated under the name NJZ have been inactive. These accounts had been used by the five members of NewJeans during the legal dispute with ADOR over the termination of their exclusive contracts.
During the conflict, the group temporarily renamed themselves NJZ and used the account to interact with fans independently of ADOR. Notably, members’ parents also used the platform to make official statements during the height of the controversy.

The five members of NewJeans lost the first trial in a lawsuit brought by ADOR to have the validity of their exclusivity contract confirmed. None of the members appealed, effectively ending the legal battle.
Younger members Hyein and Haerin were the first to confirm their return to ADOR through mutual discussions. Later, Minji, Hanni and Danielle also announced: “We decided to return to ADOR.”

ADOR welcomed their return, saying it will continue individual discussions with each member, including those who made the decision unilaterally as part of a standard reinstatement process.
With the NJZ account now deactivated, fans see this as a symbolic closure to a turbulent chapter New Jeans‘, marking a new beginning under the agency where they originally debuted.
