During the live broadcast of Mnet Asian Music Awards 2025 (MAMA) On November 29 at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, up-and-coming boy group AllDay Project performed their high-energy track “FAMOUS.” However, a major glitch stole the spotlight.
The performance opened with member Tarzan sitting at the base of the stage, preparing for a modern dance solo that transitioned seamlessly into a high-difficulty acrobatic sequence. Right at the beginning of the routine, a remote-controlled camera unexpectedly crashed, obstructing the live broadcast. Mnet quickly cut the feed to crowd footage, and much of Tarzan’s choreography, including his complex fall, was lost to television viewers.
Tarzan, an accomplished dancer who began his journey in middle school and won back-to-back contemporary dance competitions in high school, was highly anticipated by fans for this solo moment.
Fan-shot videos then revealed an astonishing nine consecutive somersaults that were completely absent from the official broadcast. The performance, which drew explosive applause on site, became a source of frustration for viewers at home who missed what many described as a “legendary moment.”

Reactions online were swift and intense:
“The camera fell at the most crucial moment!”
“He did NINE somersaults live on air and it didn’t even air?!”
“Incredible technical error. It was a disaster.”
Despite the accident, Tarzan and AllDay Project were widely praised for their professionalism and stage presence. The unfortunate incident, however, has sparked renewed calls for better live broadcast protocols and safety checks, especially at high-risk international shows such as MOM.

As one of the standout debut performances of the night, AllDay Project still managed to capture attention, but the moment that could have defined their rise was lost due to a falling lens.
