On November 19, DAWN posted a heartfelt message on his personal account, writing: “Today the person I loved most in the world, my grandfather, left our family.”
Reflecting on the poignant moment of his passing, he continued, “Oddly enough, he died on the same day as my grandmother’s memorial service. It seems like the two of them are reassuring me and my family. Even though the time I spent with him before he passed was short, it is more precious and meaningful to me than any other moment.”
DAWN then expressed concern about acquaintances who might feel obliged to attend despite the cold weather, saying: “I did not reach out individually because I was worried that you might travel far in this weather. Please pray for my grandfather’s new and peaceful journey.”
Along with her message, DAWN shared a childhood photo taken with her grandfather. The image shows the two sitting side by side in matching poses, sparking a wave of emotion among fans.
Born in 1994, DAWN debuted with PENTAGON in 2016 before leaving the group in 2018. He later transitioned to a solo career and continues to actively release music.
