A breast cancer awareness gala hosted by South Korea has drawn backlash for its flashy, party atmosphere that many say overshadowed the event’s cause. Amid criticism, actress Park Eun-bin attracted attention for leaving early and candidly sharing her thoughts afterward.
During a live stream from her car, Park Eun-bin said, “I just finished the W event and I’m rushing home,” adding, “It’s actually been a long time, almost the first time I’ve participated in something like this. I saw some interesting things.” She laughed nervously, saying, “Everyone seemed to be having fun. I just caught the vibe a little and went home.”
The annual Love Your W campaign, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, featured BTS’s RM, V and J-Hope, as well as top actors such as Go Hyun-jung and Lee Young-ae. However, criticism erupted online for the skimpy outfits, festive tone and performances deemed inappropriate for a cancer awareness event.
