On the morning of September 18, an open speech for Project Y. It was held in the outdoor phase of the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae as part of the 30th Busan International Film Festival (Biff). The event was attended by the members of the cast Han So-Hee, Jeon Jong-Seo, Kim Sung-Cheol, Jung Young-Joo, Lee Jae-Kyoon, Yooa and the director Lee Hwan.
Explaining his casting decision, Lee said, “While I wrote the script, I thought of the actors who could convincingly embody Misun and Dokyung in a way that the audience would understand and believe. It was when Han So-Hee and Jeon Jong-Seo came to mind.”
He added, “I gave them the script at that time, and I had fun. When I asked them to work together, I felt that they were perfect not only because they are widely recognized as an icons, but also because placing these icons actually gritty and raw allows the public to experience a strong sense of conflict. I think the contrast has worked very well and I am very happy.”

Project Y. It tells the story of Misun and Dokyung, who have nothing but mutual. In an attempt to escape their harsh reality, they steal hidden black money and gold bars, triggering a chain of dangerous events.
