Netflix Huntr/X’s imaginary group has reached what no other group k-pop girl-reale or virtual-it did before: reaching n. 1 On Billboard Hot 100. Their track “Golden”, from the animated film Kpop Demon Hunters, is now the first 100 graphic topper from K-Pop female, which ends a 24-year-old GAP since the destiny’s Childicicus 2001 film.

The milestone is supported by impressive numbers. In the week of 1 to 7 August, “Golden” accumulated 31.7 million waterways, 7000 sales and 8.4 million impressions of Airplay Radio. Internationally, the song holds position no. 1 in Global 200 of Billboard and Global Excl. U.S. graphics and has passed the rankings in South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Huntr/X-composed by Rumi members, Mira and Zoey-is voiced by Arden Cho, May Hong and Ji-Yooung Yoo, with voice of Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami. The song was produced by the K-Pop Teddy Park veteran, guaranteeing “Golden” transports the Sonic and energy fans associated with the genre.

Kpop Demon Hunters has already become the second original animated animated of Netflix, exceeding 180 million views. Taking advantage of success, Netflix will host projections of songs in theaters in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom on 23-24 August, offering fans an experience similar to a concert on the big screen.
