In the episode of May 17 of MBC “Point of Omniscient interferes” (also known as “The manager”) ,, (G) i-like‘S Minnie Spectators surprised with a rare glance at his luxurious life and the background of elite as the daughter of a Thai family at a magnate level.
The episode characterized the members of (G) I -Tle (now renamed in “I-Telle”) for a meeting for the home and team dinner at Minnie’s house, in which he recently moved. Its spacious residence boasts panoramic views of Soul, a central courtyard, an elegant dining space and an outdoor area overlooking the city skyline, immediately attracting everyone’s attention.
While the members admired Minnie’s house, he observed the host song Eun-I, “We talked about Soyeon’s copyright earnings and Chinese revenue from Yuqi, but Minnie is at another level.” In fact, Minnie is known to come from a higher class family in Thailand.
Yuqi backed this, remembering a visit to Minnie’s house in Thailand, stating, “I’ve never seen anything like that. There were more buildings, a personal gym and even a park.” Feeling this, Minnie randomly added, “We have three houses there. Our enlarged family lives together.”
When asked about its largest amount of allowance, Minnie explained calmly, “I never had a fixed allowance. I used my father’s credit card. I’m not sure what the limit was, but I used it sparingly.” He also shared, “When I came to Korea as a minor, I couldn’t get my card, so I used my father’s card to cover the stay expenses.”
Minnie then revealed her family background, sharing, “My mother manages a resort in Thailand and my father is vice -president of the first bank ever in Thailand.” Despite this, he underlined his financial independence, adding, “Since I started earning my income, I haven’t touched my parents’ money at all.”
