On March 27, the family of the deceased actress Kim Sae-Sore held a press conference in Seoul, claiming to present evidence that had a romantic relationship with the actor Kim Soo-Hyun while he was still minor. Among the shared materials were the registers of chat digitally recreated from 24 to 26 June 2016, when Kim Sae-Sore was 15 years old (international age). These reconstructions included messages in which Kim Soo-Hyun would write, “Isn’t it too cute?” In response to a photo and replied to a Kim cardiac heemji with “Get it for really next time.” Other messages read, “When can I fall asleep by keeping you?” AND “It would be the best sleep ever.”
Lawyer Bu stressed that they were reconstructions for privacy reasons, but stressed that the original data exist. “This is not manufactured or sewn together. We have only drawn up the private details”, He explained.
Despite the serious statements, the legal validity of the tests remains uncertain. The messages shown have been reconstructed, not original screens, therefore it is impossible to confirm their authenticity. In addition, the temporal sequence of some photos, including one of the Kim Soo-Hyun, washing the dishes in Kim Sa-Se-Se-Se-See-Sa-Se.
Consequently, critics have raised concerns about the authenticity and legal value of these materials, asking if they definitively demonstrate a romantic relationship between Kim Soo-Hyun and the late Kim Sae-So-Sei when he was a minor.
