Stray Kids leader Bang Chan will not participate in the group’s scheduled events today due to health problems, as announced by JYP entertainment.

On January 12, the agency released an official statement, explaining that Bang Chan had developed “sudden flu-like symptoms” and, after following medical advice, would be taking a break to focus on his recovery. They also stressed the importance of prioritizing his health and well-being, ensuring he receives the rest he needs to fully recover.
“We inform you that Stray Kids member Bang Chan will not be able to participate in the following programs scheduled for today due to sudden flu symptoms“, reads the statement.
“As recommended by medical professionals, Bang Chan is currently resting adequately,” he continued. “The decision to exclude Bang Chan was made for the safety of both the artist and fans. We would like to apologize to STAY who has been anxiously awaiting its program and ask for your kind understanding.“
The statement also expressed regret for fans who were looking forward to seeing Bang Chan at the events, but reassured them that this decision was made in his best interests. JYP Entertainment also thanked fans for their understanding and support, promising to provide updates on Bang Chan’s condition and any changes to the group’s schedule.
