“Universe League” Accused of Plagiarizing K-Pop Idol Group’s Song

Lately, SBSthe survival program of UNIVERSAL LEAGUEwas criticized for plagiarizing an idol group’s song.

After Team Groove’s mission song, “Prison”, was released, many fans thought the song sounded similar to VIXX“Mistake”.

In side-by-side comparisons of both songs, many felt that they sounded almost the same.

Are you saying Team Groove’s “Prison” isn’t plagiarizing VIXX’s “Error”? We need an explanation from the composer. Even those who know nothing about music can see many similarities.

One fan organized the issue in a document concluding that the song did in fact plagiarize the VIXX song and that the choreography was heavily inspired but not plagiarized.
