BSS recently released a video for “Teleparty.” The theme was taking back one’s youth, with the video showing BSS as politicians leading the charge.
The crowd held up banners in support of their “party”.
The jeans represented the slogan “youth is now”, which forms an acrostic for “jeans“in Korean.
The “voters” gathered for the big rally hosted by BSS.
Although the theme had already been planned since the beginning of 2024, it seemed to have some parallels with the recent political conflict in South Korea with the impeachment of the president. Protests calling for the president’s impeachment continued in December.
This resulted in BSS’s video including an unexpected disclaimer! They reiterated that the video was planned in the first half of 2024 and was not related to any event.
The coincidence was not lost on fans.
